Broker Check

Our Primary Purpose

Our advisors have been offering financial advice on a fee for service basis since 1986. Over the years, we have found that a team approach can be an effective method to help clients who have a wide variety of needs as they maneuver through a complex financial-services world.

Tremper & Roper

We specialize in helping families, business owners and executives design and implement financial strategies for helping to accumulate, manage and preserve wealth. Our business is structured into two defined segments; Financial Planning and Investment Management. While these areas are often interrelated, they are offered separately so clients may choose the services that apply to their specific needs.

Financial Planning encompasses a broad spectrum of topics and services, which are offered individually or combined together. Clients typically engage us for planning in the areas of pre- and post-retirement strategies, retirement cash flow modeling, estate planning considerations, needs analysis (insurance) and tax planning*, as well as any other areas that impact financial security. All financial planning services are based on an hourly rate, but typically quoted on a flat-fee arrangement for a one-year period. Fees include all meetings, preparation and travel time. Unusual circumstances or complex plans may be assessed a higher fee, which is agreed upon in advance. Hourly planning is also available for clients who have specific needs.

Investment Management is not about trying to outperform the market. It is about creating an investment strategy that helps meet a client's goals, risk tolerance and objectives while helping to minimize volatility and taxes.* Our advisors work closely with clients to develop diversified target allocation portfolios** consisting mainly of exchanged-traded funds (ETFs) and no-load mutual funds. These actively-managed portfolios consist of investments across all different asset classes, market caps and fund families. An annual fee is charged based on a small percentage of an account's value, not an upfront commission or ongoing transaction charge. We believe this fee structure is fair, transparent and closely aligns each party's interests.

Most clients utilize both our Financial Planning and Investment Management services to provide an integrated, cohesive plan. By doing so, we are able to closely monitor and quantify the impact portfolio returns have on the health and success of a client's retirement plan. Having immediate access to investment performance and account balances also allows us to quickly respond to market changes and life events.

*Tax preparation services are not offered through, nor supervised by Lincoln Investment.

**Diversification or asset allocation do not guarantee a profit or protect against a loss.
